SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite only having four players, the Lycoming College men's tennis team had a strong showing against Alfred University on Saturday afternoon, March 7, posting two doubles wins and two singles wins to fall 5-4, at the Central PA Tennis Center.

Freshman
Nate Redell (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area) and junior
Cody Greenaway (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) posted an 8-2 win over Logan Cross and Ryan Brown at No. 1 doubles and freshman
Jason Anderson (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown) and sophomore
Casey Haas (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) added another 8-2 win over Reeder Bruffey and Adam Shearer at No. 2.

In singles play, Haas notched a 6-1, 6-1 win over Bruffey at No. 3 and Anderson notched a 7-6 (5), 6-4 win over Shearer at No. 4.

The Warriors fell to 3-4 overall and Alfred moved to 3-2.

The Warriors get back on the court on Wednesday, March 18, when they face Clarks Summit at 3 p.m.
