WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Junior Darius Dangerfield (Abingdon, Md./Harford Tech) led the Lycoming College men's basketball team with 16 points, but Albright College came back from a 13-point first half deficit for a 73-68 MAC Commonwealth win on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 8, at Lamade Gym.

In the second half, Lycoming re-stretched it to its largest lead (13) of the game, as Terry grabbed a defensive rebound and finished at the rim to make it 45-32 in the opening minute, but Lycoming hit just 35 percent from the floor in the period. The Lions chipped away at Lycoming's lead until Albright's Sam Majekodunmi hit a layup to go ahead 62-60. Lycoming responded with a Edmond tip-in and the two sides traded baskets until Brown's shot with two minutes to go.

Albright and Lycoming traded shots up to a 20-19 Albright lead in the first half before the Warriors went on a 9-2 run that prompted an Albright time out. Walden knocked down a two-point shot and followed it up with a trey to push the Warriors out to a 27-22 lead. The Warriors picked up help from its bench with 15 points in the period, as Walden led with all of his career-high seven.

Ilodigwe and Dangerfield the offense with nine and eight points, respectively, as Lycoming held a 43-32 halftime lead. The Warriors had 19 rebounds and two blocks courtesy of Harward, who led the Lycoming defense with five rebounds in the half.
