WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a hard-fought game with third-place Widener, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will try to get back into the win column when it faces another tough test in MAC Commonwealth-leading Messiah College on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. in Hitchcock Arena.
The Warriors (12-6 overall, 5-4 MAC Commonwealth) fell to Widener, 84-71, in their last outing, but had several strong performances, as freshman
Kenzie Reed notched her first double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds and senior
Morgan Mader tied her career highs of 22 points and six 3-pointers made.
The Falcons (14-4 overall, 8-1 MAC Commonwealth) posted a 72-45 win at Alvernia on Saturday, Jan. 25, as sophomore Eleana Eckley led the way with 27 points.
