WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Coming off an overtime buzzer-beater win at Arcadia, the Lycoming College men's basketball team hosts to Widener University for a MAC Commonwealth showdown between the top two teams in the league on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 3 p.m., in Lamade Gym.

The Warriors (12-5 overall, 5-3 MAC Commonwealth) beat Arcadia, 70-68 in overtime, as senior Ryan Hollis canned a 3-pointer at the buzzer. Freshman Dyson Harward led the Warriors with 18 points and 11 rebounds, Hollis scored 15 points and freshman Mo Terry added 13.

Widener (15-2, 8-0 MAC Commonwealth) remained undefeated in conference play with a 90-74 win over Arcadia on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Senior Elijah Boyd tied his career-high with 25 points and senior Connor Laverty scored 16 points and six rebounds

• With a win, the Warriors can clinch a winning season for the 10th in the last 11 years and the 23rd time in the last 25 years.

• The Warriors have a MAC Commonwealth-best overall record of 215-117 since joining the league in 2007-08. Widener is third with a 188-142 record in that span. 

• The Warriors have won five of the last six home games against the Pride, including a 77-71 overtime win in 2019.

• The Warriors lead the MAC Commonwealth in scoring defense (66.9) and defensive field goal percentage (.400).
