WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) kickstarted her senior campaign with wins in both singles and doubles competition to become the third player in school history to reach 75 career combined wins to highlight the Lycoming College women's tennis team play at the King's College Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Kirby Park.

Summerson defeated Misericordia's Hannah Bonk, 6-1, 6-3 in the opening round of No. 1 singles, before falling to Scranton's Nastashia DeNunzio, 6-1, 6-0 in the semifinal. The senior also teamed up with freshman Aubrey Chambers (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County) at No. 1 doubles to defeat Arcadia's Tess Weber and Julia Paraboschi, 8-6. Summerson and Chambers fell in the semifinal to Scranton's DeNunzio and Marissa Campo, 8-4.
