WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior
Spencer Pedersen (Poolesville, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel) and freshman
Jason Anderson (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown) earned victories in both singles and doubles matches to lead the Lycoming College men's tennis team, which fell to Mount Aloysius College, 6-3, in the season opener on Friday, Sept. 6 at Brandon Park.

Pederson and Anderson defeated Adam Tussey and Devon Mountain, 8-5, in No. 3 doubles to earn the first point for the Warriors. Pederson then went on to take down Mountain, 6-3, 6-1 in No. 6 singles and Anderson earned a 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 5.

The Warriors fall to 0-1 on the year and the Mounties improve to 1-0.Â

The Warriors are back on the court on Wednesday, Sept. 11, when they host Susquehanna at 4 p.m. in non-conference action at Brandon Park.
