Elle Jednorski (Forest Hill, Md./Fallston) led the Lycoming College volleyball team with nine kills and senior setter
Emily Morris (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North) posted her first double-double of the year with 27 assists and 10 digs, but the team fell to Mount Aloysius, 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-19), on Wednesday night, Sept. 4, in non-conference action at Lamade Gym.

Morris also added two aces and senior
Alysa McDevitt (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) added three aces for the Warriors (3-1 overall). Freshman
Elizabeth Kelson (Denville, N.J./Morris Catholic) added six kills and two blocks and senior
Darci Warriner (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) had four kills and four digs.

Senior
Lindsay Beck (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown Community) added a team-high 17 digs and sophomore
Angie King (Cooperstown, Pa./Maplewood) added 10.

Kylee Clawson led Mount Aloysius with 20 digs and Machala Gibbons posted 13 kills and eight digs. Emma Pevarnilk posted 30 assists and eight digs, as the Mounties (2-2 overall) notched a .250 hitting percentage in the match, hitting better than .300 in the first and third sets.

In the first set, Mount Aloysius hit .355 to take control of a 25-22 win. In the second set, the Warriors fought back from a 19-15 deficit to tie it at 23 after a monster kill from Jednorski, but Mount Aloysius got the last two points to seal the set. In the third set, the Mounties hit .304 in order to lead by as many as seven points late in the period.

The Warriors get back on the court on Friday, Sept. 6, when they start the two-day Lycoming Invitational by facing Hartwick at 4 p.m. and Alfred State at 8 p.m.
