SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Lycoming College men's soccer team fell to Swarthmore College, 4-0, in non-conference action on Wednesday night, Sept. 25 at Clothier Field Stadium.

The Warriors (4-4 overall) had outshot the Garnet (6-1-1 overall), 11-10, and had 11 corners in the game.

After a scoreless first-half, the Garnet ended the drought in the 47
th minute when Bless Tumushabe scored off a dish from Joe Barile. Charley Ward, Trevor Homstad and Joe Barlie scored late in the second period to round out the scoring.

Mason Novobilski (Lewisburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) and junior
Alex Henry (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) led the Warriors with two shots.

Kevin Kelly (Great Barrington, Mass./Berkshire School) made two saves for the Warriors, while Max Kral earned the win for the Garnet, finishing with three saves.

The Warriors are back on the field on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 3:30 p.m. when they host Carnegie Mellon University at UPMC Field.
