DALLAS, Pa. – Senior
Kaylee Long (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) kicked off her final campaign with a top-25 finish on the 4K Misericordia Invitational course on Friday night, Aug. 30, as she finished 22
nd to lead the Lycoming College cross country teams in their season-opening race.

Long took 22
nd place in the field of 65 runners, posting a time of 17:44.60 to help the Warriors finish in sixth in the field of seven teams. Senior
Amanda Goulden (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) took 49
th with a time of 21:00.70 and freshman
Tamara Hess (Canton, Pa./Canton) took 51
st in 21:27.90. Senior
Kayla Nowak (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) finished in 23:43.20, freshman
Kaitlyn Welch (Charlotte Hall, Md./La Plata) in 25:41.30 and sophomore
Ha-Anh Nguyen (Hanoi, Vietnam/Olympic Schools) in 30:06.90 to round out the women's finishers.

Dan Moses (Cape May, N.J./Wildwood Catholic) led the Warriors with a 40
th-place finish in the field of 88 runners on the 6K course, posting a time of 19:46.80. Sophomore
Brandon Gates (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run) took 55
th with a time of 20:37.60, junior
Maverick Stenger (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) finished 59
th in 20:45.30 and sophomore
Logan Franquet (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) took 61
st in 21:05.80. Junior
Guillermo Quintero (Austin, Texas/KIPP Austin) finished in 21:55.60, just ahead of junior
Hunter Jackson (Warriors Mark, Pa./Tyrone Area), who crossed in 22:15.50. Sophomore
Diego Pallares (Cicero, Ill./Bulls College Prep) (23:36.30) and sophomore
Zeb Harshbarger (Reedsville, Pa./Mifflin County) (24:40.50) also ran for Lycoming.

The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, Sept. 7, when they head to the Dutchmen Invitational at Union Canal Tunnel Park, with the women's 5K set to start at 10:15 a.m. and the men's 8K at 11 a.m.
