STEVENSON, Md. – Junior
Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) used a superset tiebreaker win for her third straight singles win to lead the Lycoming College women's tennis team, which fell to Stevenson University, 8-1, at Greenspring Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon, April 6.

Summerson downed Jenna Skove, 4-6, 6-4, 10-8, at No. 1 singles to earn her 37
th career singles win, just one shy of reaching fourth in the program's career record book for wins, where Heather Straub (1997-01) sits with a 38-6 career record.

Lycoming had several competitive matches, with both senior
Brittany Lenze (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) and freshman
Wiliana Lundy (Hyde Park, N.Y./Franklin D. Roosevelt) winning four games in each of their sets at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively.

Stevenson improved to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in MAC Commonwealth play and Lycoming fell to 3-7 overall and 0-1 in MAC Commonwealth play.

The Warriors get back on the court on Tuesday, April 9, when they face MAC Commonwealth opponent Messiah College at 3:30 p.m. at Bruce Henry Park.
