WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman catcher
Isabella Gackenbach (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) singled in two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and threw out the tying run trying to steal second in the seventh to lead the Lycoming College softball team to a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over MAC Commonwealth foe Lebanon Valley College in the nightcap of a doubleheader on Saturday, April 6, at the Shangraw Athletic Complex. Lycoming fell in game one, 3-0.
Â
The Warriors (13-7 overall, 2-4 MAC Commonwealth) trailed 2-0 going into the bottom of the sixth inning when junior
Kayla Kline (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) started the rally by powering a single into left field to lead off the fram. Freshman
Morgan Klosko (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) followed suit to set up first and second and junior
Darci Warriner (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) singled up the middle to score Kline, while Klosko and Warriner each moved up a bag after the hit kicked off the center fielder. An out on the next play brought Gackenbach to the dish, where she hit the game-winning single with a liner into left center to plate Klosko and Warriner.

After a leaping full-extension grab by Kline to start the seventh, freshman
