Â
The Warriors (8-8 overall, 6-2 MAC Commonwealth) finished in a tie for second in the MAC Commonwealth, the team's best finish in conference play since 2010. The team will enter the MAC Commonwealth Championship as the No. 3 seed, visiting No. 2 Messiah College (9-7 overall, 6-2 MAC Commonwealth) on Wednesday, May 1, for the conference semifinals at a time to be determined.

th player in school history to reach 100 career points with his first point, a goal three minutes into the second quarter, and Masterson, a defender, picked up three groundballs to give him 102 in his career.
Â
After not reaching 20 goals in the past 11 seasons, the Warriors did so for the second time in as many games, thanks to an efficient attack that took 56 shots and a hard-playing defense that scooped up 43
groundballs. The faceoff crew was also effective, winning 25-of-36 at the 'x', led by a 22-for-31 effort from freshman
Justin Joseph (Exeter, Pa./Wyoming Area), who picked up 13 groundballs.
Â
The Blazers (10-5 overall, 3-5 MAC Commonwealth), who could have earned a No. 5 seed in the conference tournament with a win, closed within five goals with five minutes left, but Collins found sophomore
Dominic Massaro (Centereach, N.Y./Sachem North) twice in a span of 48 seconds and freshman
Aydan Knight (Kingston, Ontario/Frontenac) scored off a Blazers' turnover to close out the scoring.
Â
Hood scored the first two goals in the game before Massaro scored twice on a run of three straight goals to give Lycoming a 3-2 lead. Hood scored once more before the end of the first quarter to tie it heading into the second quarter, when Lycoming went on a 9-2 run to make it 12-5 at the half. Freshmen
Owen Zummerman (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) and
Blake Premo (Massena, N.Y./Massena) and juniors Collins and
Shain Quigley (Lincoln University, Pa./Oxford Area) each had two goals in the run.
Â
Hood drew within six points three times in the third quarter and closed within five twice in the fourth, but Lycoming's high-flying offense answered each time.
Â

Austin Arroyo (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) and
Collin Bitsko (Farmingdale, N.J./Freehold Township).
Â
Zimmerman posted five groundballs, Rode had seven and senior goalkeeper
