WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior
Kelly McGinniss (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) recorded her 15
th game with at least three goals to go along with 12 draw controls to lead the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team, which lost to four-time defending conference champions, Messiah, 21-4 on Tuesday afternoon, March 12, at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.

McGinniss led the Lycoming offense along with freshman
Erika Boyer (East Greenville, Pa./Upper Perkiomen), who posted a goal and an assist. Senior
Sara Rockey (Bellefonte, Pa./Bellefonte Area) posted five ground balls and sophomore
Cecilia Massey (Middletown, Del./Hodgson Vo-Tech) caused turnovers.

McGinniss' three goals moved her within four goals of the school record of 233 set by Megan Wallenhorst from 2005-08.

Amanda Wadsworth led the Falcons with four goals and two assists and both Abigail Evans and Katelyn Pearson had three scores. Joanna King added three assists and Katie Stollemyer caused three turnovers.

Freshman
Jordyn Altland (Hanover, Pa./South Western) notched eight saves for the Warriors. Amber Orner made six saves for the Falcons to earn the win.

The Warriors get back on the field on Thursday, March 14, when they head to Wesley for a 5:30 p.m. non-conference game.
