OWING MILLS, Md. – The Lycoming College women's soccer team fell to Stevenson University, 5-0, in MAC Commonwealth action on Friday night, Oct. 18 at Mustang Field.

The Warriors (7-7-1 overall, 0-4 MAC Commonwealth) finished with six shots on goal and were led by sophomore
Jayden Leighow (Unityville, Pa./Hughesville), who finished with three. Freshman
Jessica Umpstead (Montgomery, Pa./Montgomery Area), sophomore
Megan Oyler (Bedford, Pa./Bedford) and junior
Sheila Whitman (Lake Ariel, Pa./Wallenpaupack) also finished with a shot on net for Lycoming.

Stevenson (7-7-1 overall, 4-1 MAC Commonwealth) held a one-goal lead heading into the break, before scoring four in the second period. Cassidy Butler netted a goal in the first half and assisted on another in the second to highlight the Mustang offense.

Sophomore
Jess Riordan (Vineland, N.J./Our Lady of Mercy) made five saves for the Warriors and Keegan Caffrey had six stops for the Mustangs.

The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 3:30 p.m., when they host Albright in a MAC Commonwealth game at UPMC Field.
