WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After its bye in the MAC Commonwealth schedule, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will open the second half of its conference slate on Monday, Jan. 21, when it heads to Arcadia University for a 6 p.m. game.
The Warriors (13-4 overall, 7-1 MAC Commonwealth) head into the second part of its conference schedule with a two-game cushion in second place in the league and just one game out of the top spot held by eighth-ranked Messiah.
Arcadia (6-11 overall, 3-5 MAC Commonwealth) heads into the second half of its conference season in a tie for sixth in the league after a 64-51 loss to Widener on Wednesday, Jan. 16.
Game Notes
• With a win, Lycoming would improve to 14-4 for the first time since the 1987-88 team started 17-4 en route to a school-record 21 wins.
• The Warriors' magic number to clinch a spot in the MAC Commonwealth Championship is five. Any combination of Lycoming wins or losses by the sixth-place team will lower the number.
• Through 17 games, the Warriors are allowing 57.7 points per game, 0.4 better than the school record set by the 2014-15 team.
• Junior
Akilah McFadden needs 16 more points to become the 16th player in program history to score 800 in a career.
• With 213 career assists, McFadden needs five more to tie Jen Holt (1995-98) for eighth in school history.
• McFadden is three steals shy of becoming the sixth player in school history to post two 50-steal seasons in a career (69, 2016-17).
• Junior
Kayla Kline needs 19 more points to become the 27th player in school history to score 700 in a career.
• With 35 blocks this season, sophomore
Erica Lutz needs three more to tie Andrea Cooper (2005-06) for fifth in the school's record book.
