GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – Freshman
Megan Oyler (Bedford, Pa./Bedford) scored in the 78
th minute to give the Lycoming College women's soccer team a late push, but it could not overcome a two-goal deficit, falling to Gwynedd Mercy, 2-1, in a non-conference game Saturday afternoon, Sept. 22, at the Gwynedd Mercy Athletic Complex.

Oyler connected for her third goal on the season, as she is second on the team in the category.

Victoria Braeunle had a foot in each goal for the Griffins (2-4-2 overall), assisting Amanda Credidio in the 35
th minute and adding a goal of her own in the 64
th minute.

Freshman
Bronwen Lewis (Cresaptown, Md./Allegany) got the start in net for the Warriors and finished the game with one save. Kailey Hopkins played the full 90 minutes for the Griffins and also finished with one save.

The Warriors are back action on Saturday, Sept. 29, for a 5:30 p.m. start, when they head to Reading, Pa., to take on Albright College in a MAC Commonwealth game.
