Elle Sarracco (Wantage, N.J./High Point Regional) scored her fourth goal in the past four games, but the Lycoming College women's soccer team dropped a 5-1 non-conference game at Marywood on Tuesday evening, Sept. 18, at Pacers Field.

Sarracco cut a first-half lead down to one in the 43
rd minute with her team-leading fourth goal of the season when she fired a ball over the goalkeeper's head from just inside the box, with the score coming just 13 seconds after Marywood (1-5 overall) had taken a 2-0 lead, the 12th-fastest time that goals were scored by opposing teams in NCAA Division III history.

Julie Youngman assisted on a goal and scored her own in the first half. In the second period, Cara Romaniello scored twice to help put the game out of reach.

Freshman
Bronwen Lewis (Cresaptown, Md./Allegany) made a career-high eight saves in 72 minutes of action and freshman
Bekki Weller (Millmont, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) had a save in the final 18 minutes for the Warriors (1-8 overall). Aly Moyer made three saves to earn the win for the Pacers.

The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 22 for a 1 p.m. start when they head to Gwynedd Mercy for a non-conference game.
