The Warriors (1-7 overall, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) were able to double their shots in the second half, including a 1-on-1 fast-break opportunity from sophomore Elle Sarracco (Wantage, N.J./High Point Regional) in the 72nd minute that hit the crossbar. Freshman Bailey Gilmore (Ivyland, Pa./Germantown Academy) also added two shots on goal.

The Golden Wolves (1-4-1, 1-0) benefitted from two goals from Alison Hyde and one from Annie Rose in the first half.

Senior Helen Ross (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley) started the game for the Warriors and finished with one save before giving way to Lewis, who finished out the game. Lily Sankey and Kayla Samero combined for a six-save shutout for Alvernia.
