HERSHEY, Pa. – Junior
Alec Sabatino (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) finished in a tie for 32
nd after posting a second round 91 to finish with a career-best 181 to lead the Lycoming College men's golf team at the two-day MAC Commonwealth Championship at the par-71, 6,587-yard Hershey Country Club East Course on Sunday, April 29.

Sabatino had two birdies during his Sunday round, helping him finish with a 46 on the front nine and a 45 on the back after he posted a 90 on the first day of the tournament. His 181 was five strokes better than his 2017 total, when he fired a 94-92 at the championship.

Weston Baylor (Paxinos, Pa./Danville Area) had a 100 to finish with a 198 (98-100) to take 40
th. Sophomore
Brendan Noga (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) finished with a 211 (98-113) and senior
Johnathan Zedar (Dalton, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) finished at 252 (119-133).

Stevenson won the team title by six strokes, posting a two-day total of 640 (317-323), while Lycoming finished ninth with an 842 (405-437). Alvernia's Keith Noonan won the individual title by a stroke over Hood's Andy Baker, posting a two-day 156 (76-80).
