Alec Sabatino (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) led the Lycoming College men's golf team with a first-round 90 on the first day of the MAC Commonwealth Championship at the par-71, 6,681-yard Hershey Country Club East Course on Saturday, April 28.

Sabatino's round of 90 was his best in five career rounds at the MAC Commonwealth tournament, as he notched six pars and five bogeys in his 19-over-par round that put him in a tie for 33
rd place in a field of 44 golfers.

Brendan Noga (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) each shot career bests of 98 to kick off their tournaments and senior
Johnathan Zedar (Dalton, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) posted a career-best 119.

Andy Baker leads the field after posting a first-round 74 for Hood. Stevenson leads the field with a 317 on the first day, six strokes ahead of Lebanon Valley. The Warriors fired a 405 on their first day, the team's best round of the spring.
