WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Coming off a pair of convincing wins over teams that reached the conference semifinals last year, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will head to Lebanon Valley College for a battle to become the first MAC Commonwealth with three wins on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Sorrentino Gymnasium.

The Warriors (5-2 overall, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) posted a 63-55 win over Stevenson on Saturday. Junior Kayla Kline and sopomore Erica Lutz each had 20 points in the game, while Kline notched 13 rebounds and added four assists.

The Flying Dutchmen (4-4 overall, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) edged out Albright, 66-65, on Saturday. Sophomore Emily Mealey led the team with 18 points and junior Caroline Scarff added 15 points and eight rebounds.

Warrior Notes
• The Warriors can open MAC Commonwealth play 3-0 for the first time since the joining the league in 2007-08 and for the first time in league play since the 1995-96 team opened Freedom League play 3-0.

• Lycoming leads the MAC Commonwealth in  field goal percentage defense (.351), assist-turnover ratio (1.26), scoring margin (15.4), and turnovers (13.1).

• The Warriors are the only team in the conference with two players in the top 10 in the league in both points and rebounds: sophomore Erica Lutz (16.0 points, fifth; 8.4 rebounds, fifth) and junior Kayla Kline (13.6 points, ninth; 8.1 rebounds, seventh).

• With 182 career assists, junior Akilah McFadden is nine helpers shy of reaching the top 10 in the school's record book.

• Senior Becca Painter (3.5) and Kline (2.2) are 1-2 in the MAC Commonwealth in assist-turnover ratio.
