WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - With one last game on the docket before the fall semester officially closes, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will host Messiah College on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. at Lamade Gym. 

The Warriors (5-4 overall, 1-3 MAC Commonwealth) fell to preseason conference favorite Arcadia, 76-65, in their last outing. Sophomore Darius Dangerfield finished with 11 points, four assists, four steals, and three rebounds for the Warriors and freshman Markanthony Fidelis posted 28 points.

The Falcons (5-5 overall, 2-1 MAC Commonwealth) outlasted Alvernia, 68-63, on Saturday. Sophomore Sam Whittle dropped a careerhigh 25 points in his first start and the  team's leading scorer, Colin Sareyka, added 15. 

Warrior Notes 
• The Warriors are 8-8 all-time on Dec. 12, last beating Gordon, 77-64, in 2015.

• Senior Darius James is nine points shy of reaching 600 in his career.

• Senior Calvin Chandler needs 14 more rebounds to reach 300 in his career.

• Sophomore Darius Dangerfield is one made 3-pointer shy of reaching 50 in his career.

• Four Lycoming players are in the top 15 in the MAC Commonwealth in scoring - freshman Markanthony Fidelis (7th, 17.0), sophomore D'Yante Doughty (8th, 16.6), sophomore Darius Dangerfield (12th, 14.6) and senior Darius James (13th, 14.4). No other team in the league has more than two.

• Junior Devon Taylor is one point shy of reaching 100 in his career.

• Lycoming held Messiah to just 28 percent shooting from the field in a pair of conference wins last year.
