WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior
Hannah Summerson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) and senior
Brittany Lenze (St. Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic) picked up victories in both singles and doubles to help lead the Lycoming College women's tennis team to a 5-4 win over crosstown rival Penn College at Bruce Henry Park on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 9.

Summerson teamed up with Lenze to defeat Amber Janelli and Alexis Youse 8-0 at No. 1 doubles and followed that up with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Janelli at No. 1 singles while Lenze defeated Youse 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2.

The Warriors also received a doubles win from seniors
Kimberleigh Parroccini (Warren, Pa./Warren Area) and
Allyson Dugan (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon), who defeated Autumn McCrum and Marcie Harman 8-2 at No. 2.

Freshman
Wiliana Lundy (Hyde Park, N.Y./Franklin D. Roosevelt) picked up her second career singles victory by defeating Deidra Satterly, 6-0, 6-0, to clinch the win.

The Warriors improve to 2-4 and the Wildcats fall to 0-3.

The Warriors are back in action on Friday, Oct . 12 for a 4:30 p.m. start when they host non-conference opponent Mount Aloysius at Bruce Henry Park.
