Katie Hausknecht (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) led the Lycoming College volleyball team with seven kills, hitting .357, but the team fell to St. John Fisher, 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-15), in the opening match at the New York Regional Challenge at the RIT's Clark Gym on Friday evening, Oct. 26.

Kiannah Titus (Clay, N.Y./Baldwinsville) added four kills and junior
Emily Morris (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North) added three kills, 15 assists and two digs for the Warriors (14-18 overall). Senior
Emily Hepner (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) posted 11 digs and freshman
Alia Post (Sayre, Pa./Sayre Area) added eight.

Alea Steigerwald led the Cardinals (16-14 overall) with 12 kills and seven digs and Izzy Smith notched nine kills, hitting .381, to go with two blocks. Erica Pawlewicz notched five kills and four aces and Elise Kreuz posted 14 digs and two aces. Rebecca Hay also added 31 assists and eight digs and Olivia Levulis posted eight blocks and four kills.

The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Oct. 27, when they head to Nazareth College to face SUNY Fredonia at 1 p.m. and Nazareth at 3 p.m.
