ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Sophomore
Elle Jednorski (Forest Hall, Md./Fallston) posted 21 kills, reaching double figures in each match, to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team, but it fell to Fredonia State, 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-21), and Nazareth College, 3-0 (25-15, 28-26, 25-21), to wrap up its season at the New York Regional Challenge at Kidera Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 27.

With 30 digs on the final day of the season, senior
Emily Hepner (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) became the fifth player in school history to scoop 600 balls in a season, finishing with exactly 600. She finished her career with a school-record 2,208 career digs after averaging a career-best 5.08 digs per set as a senior.

Fredonia (19-9 overall) hit .304 in the first match of the day to withstand gritty defensive effort, as Lycoming (14-20 overall) edged Fredonia, 46-44, in digs.

Jednorski had 11 kills, hitting .353, with a block, and junior
Alysa McDevitt (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) added five kills and a block. Hepner led the team with 11 digs and junior
Emily Morris (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North) posted 19 assists and seven digs. Freshman
Alia Post (Sayre, Pa./Sayre) also added six digs.

SallyAnne Rudny posted 13 kills, seven digs and four aces to lead the Blue Devils. Kailey Falk had nine kills and 10 digs and Amanda Mosack finished with 33 assists and six digs. Rachel Aiello led the team with 14 digs.

The Warriors held Nazareth (21-11 overall) to a .186 hitting percentage in the season finale, but Nazareth was able to hold off the Warriors in three sets, including two close efforts.

Jednorski led the Warriors with 10 kills and junior
Katie Hausknecht (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) added six kills. Morris posted 18 assists, 10 digs and four kills and Hepner finished with 19 digs and three assists in her final match.

Delaney Martin posted 12 kills and seven digs and Savannah Bothner posted 17 digs for the Golden Flyers. Jessica Barry posted 22 assists and six digs and Melissa Newcomb led the team with four blocks.
