WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â With four straight wins by an average margin of 4.5 points, a battle-tested Lycoming College women's basketball team is set for a showdown with Albright College in a battle for second place in the MAC Commonwealth on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 7 p.m.
The Warriors (11-3 overall, 5-1 MAC Commonwealth) are coming off a 62-55 win over King's, as the team shot 67 percent from the field in the fourth quarter to break away from the Monarchs. Senior
Shelby Mueller led the team with 18 points and seven rebounds and sophomore
Akilah McFadden added 16 points and six boards.
The Lions (9-5 overall, 4-1 MAC Commonwealth) are coming off a 74-59 win over Lebanon Valley, whereseniors Jane Joyce and Alysha Lofton comined for 37 points, 17 rebounds, 11 assists and seven steals.
