WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Six different Lycoming College men's lacrosse players scored in Thursday, April 13's game, but Lebanon Valley College used a fourth-quarter rally to post an important 11-6 MAC Commonwealth win at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.

Garrett Huff (Corning, N.Y./Corning East) led the Warriors with a goal and two assists and freshman
Tyler Thompson (Napean, Ontario/Mother Teresa) added a goal and assist.

The Warriors (4-7 overall, 2-3 MAC Commonwealth) jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game, with scores coming from Thompson, senior
Peter Pluta (Honeoye Falls, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) and Huff, but Lebanon Valley rallied to tie it with two goals in a 17-second span late in the quarter.

The Flying Dutchmen (7-6 overall, 1-4 MAC Commonwealth) continued to rally with a score 12 seconds into the second quarter and Kevin Beaver added another score to complete a five-goal run with 5:53 left. Sophomore
Travis Rode (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) responded, winning the groundball of the faceoff and scoring unassisted, making it 5-4 at the break.

Lycoming tied the game with 10:23 left in the third quarter, with Thompson finding sophomore
Andrew Ream (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) for a score in front of the net. Lycoming won the faceoff and had a pair of chances to take the lead, but goalkeeper Cameron Epple stopped both and Mason Hoff scored with 7:49 left starting a run of five straight Dutchmen goals, making it 10-5 with 9:12 left in the final quarter. Connor Riordan (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) scored his first career goal with 7:26 left to cut the lead to four, but that was as close as Lycoming could get.

Collin Bitsko (Farmingdale, N.J./Freehold Township) scooped up four groundballs, sophomore
Austin Arroyo (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) added four groundballs and a caused turnover and Rode led the team with five groundballs and two caused turnovers, as Lycoming scooped up 30 in the game.

Brett Kudlak led the Dutchmen with a goal and five assists and Kevin Beaver posted three goals. Klayton Garman added two goals and two assists. Austin Minnich led the team with six of 33 groundballs and both Eli Hudson and Coleman Wagner caused two turnovers.

Michael Tenant (Baltimore, Md./Calvert Hall) (4-7) stopped 16 shots in the loss, as Lebanon Valley took 35 shots in the game. Epple stopped 12 shots to earn the win, as Lycoming took 30 shots.

The Warriors get back in action on Wednesday, April 19, when they host Alvernia in a critical MAC Commonwealth clash at 3:30 p.m. at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.
