Kelly McGinniss (Randolph, N.J./Randolph), junior
Jordan Lazarich (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) and freshman
Kayla DiJoseph (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) combined to post nine goals and nine assists to lead the Lycoming College women's lacrosse team to a 17-5 MAC Commonwealth win over Hood College on Saturday, April 1, at the Thomas Athletic Field.

DiJoseph led the Warriors (4-4 overall, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth) with a career-high seven points off two goals and five assists, while McGinniss posted four goals and two assists and Lazarich added three goals, two assists and two caused turnovers.

McGinniss moved into the top five in school history with seven draw controls in the game, giving her 171 in her career, while the six points helped her become the 19
th player in program history to reach 100 points, having posted 93 goals and nine assists in just 25 career games. She also posted three caused turnovers in the game.

The Warriors got on the board, with a score from DiJoseph just 48 seconds into the game before Hood (4-6 overall, 0-2 MAC Commonwealth) scored the next two goals to a short-lived lead, as a goal from senior
Leanne Shaw (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) with 24:22 left started a run of six straight Warrior goals.

Lycoming took an 8-3 lead into the break and never let the Blazers within five goals in the second half, starting a run of seven straight goals with 17:41 left off a goal from McGinniss to give the Warriors a 17-4 lead with 4:34 left before Hood scored the last goal of the game.

Sophomore
Thamina Peti (York, Pa./West York), freshman
Natalie Schroeder (Edgewater, Md./Annapolis) and Shaw each added two goals apiece for the Warriors. Shaw also had a team-high four groundballs and Schroeder added three.

Jade Locklear led the Blazers with two goals and four draw controls and Rachel Slater added a goal and two assists. Allie Appleby finished with two groundballs and two caused turnovers.

Senior goalkeeper
Nicole Gerling (Millstone Township, N.J./Allentown) (4-4) made nine stops and allowed just four goals in 51 minutes of action before senior
Casey Martindale (Davidsonville, Md./Archbishop Spalding) made one stop in the last nine minutes. Rylie Benoit-Nobis finished with nine saves for Hood.

The Warriors get back on the field on Wednesday, April 5, when they head to Susquehanna for a 1 p.m. non-conference game.
