Garrett Huff (Corning, N.Y./Corning East) had a career-high five goals to go with an assist, including three in the fourth quarter, but Albright College came back from a two-goal deficit in the last three and a half minutes to post a 12-11 MAC Commonwealth win at Shirk Stadium on Wednesday, March 29.

Huff posted five goals, an assist and three groundballs for the Warriors (2-5 overall, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) and freshman
Drew Collins (Victor, N.Y./Victor) added three goals. Freshman
Richie Hurley (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) also posted a goal and two assists.

Huff scored just 1:18 into the game to get Lycoming into the game, but Albright (3-4 overall, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) scored the next three goals as part of a 5-1 run to take a 5-2 lead. The Warriors responded before halftime with Collins and freshman
Nick George (Shamong, N.J./Seneca) scoring to make it 5-4 at the break.

Albright took a 7-4 lead with the first two goals in the third quarter before the Warriors posted a run of five straight goals, with Hurley scoring an unassisted goal with 9:27 left to make it 9-7. The Lions fought back with two goals to tie it at nine with 7:08 left. Lycoming responded, with Hurley finding Collins and Huff for goals, with Huff's goal coming with 3:51 left to make it 11-9.

The Lions, however, scored three straight goals after that, with Cam Cetrone scoring with 22 seconds left before the Lions won the last faceoff and were able to run out the clock for the 12-11 win.

Freshman
Tyler Thompson (Nepean, Ontario/Mother Teresa) posted two assists and five groundballs and senior
Kyle Armstrong (Manchester, Md./Manchester Valley) won 11-of-22 faceoffs before notching six groundballs. George finished with a goal, an assist and three groundballs.

Cetrone led the Lions with three oals and four groundballs and Derek Stump posted a goal and five assists. Nick Tonno, Andrew Potter and Rya Higgins each had two goals. Potter finished with five groundballs and James Lettieri won 14-of-25 at the faceoff circle.

In net, sophomore
Michael Tenant (Baltimore, Md./Calvert Hall) finished with eight saves and five groundballs for the Warriors. Connor Scafidi finished with six saves in the win for the Lions.

The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, April 1, when they host Hood in a MAC Commonwealth game at 1 p.m.
