WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â After dropping a narrow four-point decision to the preseason conference favorite, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will be out to even its MAC Commonwealth record when it heads to Hood on Saturday, Dec. 2, for a 1 p.m. game.
The Warriors (4-2 overall, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) fell, 78-74, to 17th-ranked Messiah in their conference opener. Sophomore
Kayla Kline had 22 points and 10 rebounds in the tightly-contested affair which included 11 ties and 13 lead changed.
The Blazers (3-1 overall, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) opened their conference season with a 63-54 win over Alvernia. Sophomore Mia Savoy scored 20 of her 21 points in the second half to lead the Blazers from a five-point halftime deficit to the nine-point win.
