WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After dropping a narrow four-point decision to the preseason conference favorite, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will be out to even its MAC Commonwealth record when it heads to Hood on Saturday, Dec. 2, for a 1 p.m. game.

The Warriors (4-2 overall, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) fell, 78-74, to 17th-ranked Messiah in their conference opener. Sophomore Kayla Kline had 22 points and 10 rebounds in the tightly-contested affair which included 11 ties and 13 lead changed.

The Blazers (3-1 overall, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) opened their conference season with a 63-54 win over Alvernia. Sophomore Mia Savoy scored 20 of her 21 points in the second half to lead the Blazers from a five-point halftime deficit to the nine-point win.

• Senior Shelby Mueller needs 24 more points to become the 10th player in school history to score 1,000 in her career.

• Sophomore Kayla Kline has scored in double figures in each of her last nine games, averaging 16.9 points in that span.

• Freshman Erica Lutz has a blocked shot in all six games this season.

• Senior Hailey Fricke has already reached career highs in steals (4) and assists (13) this season.
