WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman goalkeeper
Madi Welliver (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) recorded her third straight game with double-digit saves, but the Lycoming College women's soccer team fell to Albright College, 1-0, in a MAC Commonwealth game on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 10, at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.

Welliver made 13 saves, including many fingertip and diving stops, giving her 41 saves in the last three games.Â

Albright's (7-5-1 overall, 2-1-1 MAC Commonwealth) Kennedy Lutz scored the game's lone goal in the 46
th minute on a cross from Jillian Lapidus.

Lycoming's best scoring chance came in the 56
th minute when sophomore
Mackaella Goodwin (Madison, N.J./Madison) fired a shot from about 10 yards out, but Albright keeper Alexis Tunney made a diving save to preserve the lead. Tunney recorded five saves for the Lions.

Lycoming (4-9-1 overall, 0-4 MAC Commonwealth) returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 14 when they take on Alvernia in a road MAC Commonwealth game at 4:30 p.m.
