WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a narrow setback at Stevenson, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will hit the road for another tough MAC Commonwealth foe when it faces defending conference champion Albright, on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the Bollman Center.

The Warriors (9-5 overall, 3-3 MAC Commonwealth) took a fourth-quarter lead from Stevenson, but were unable to finish a comeback from down 12 in the second quarter, falling 69-61. Freshman Akilah McFadden led the Warriors with 20 points and junior Shelby Mueller finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lions (10-4 overall, 5-0 MAC Commonwealth) fell to second-ranked Amherst, 78-45 in its last outing, with senior Shannon Thomas leading the way with 11 points.

• The Warriors lead the MAC Commonwealth in rebounds per game (42.5), defensive rebounds (28.0) and offensive rebounds (14.5).

• With 392 career rebounds, junior Shelby Mueller needs eight more to become the 20th player in school history to grab 400.

• Mueller is one of four players in the MAC Commonwealth in the top 10 in scoring (fourth, 12.9) and rebounding (sixth, 7.7).

• Freshman Akilah McFadden is the one of two players in the MAC Commonwealth in the top 10 in the league in assists (eighth, 3.1), blocked shots (eighth, 0.9) and fourth in steals (fourth, 2.6).

• McFadden is averaging 4.0 steals per game over the last four games.

• Freshman Kayla Kline is averaging 7.5 points over the last four games.

• Sophomore Shelby Schoonover needs eight points to reach 100 in her career.
