ALTOONA, Pa. – Sophomore
Alec Sabatino (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) posted a career-best round of 81 to lead the Lycoming College golf team, which finished 12
th in a field of 15 teams, on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Penn State Altoona Invitational at the par-72, 6,755 yard Sinking Valley Country Club.

Hailey Fricke (Denver, Pa./Garden Spot) added a round of 92 for the Warriors, who fired a round of 362, 14 strokes better than Tuesday's round at the Messiah Fall Invitational. Fricke finished fifth in a field of 12 women's golfers at the event.

Sabatino, meanwhile, finished in a tie for 21
st in a field of 73 golfers while posting his nine-over-par 81. Fricke finished second on the team with her 92, nine strokes better than at Messiah, and senior
Conor Chopey (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) added a career-best round of 94. Senior
Cale Rice (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) rounded out the Warriors lineup with a 95.

The Warriors get back on the course on Thursday, Sept. 29, when they head to the Susquehanna Fall Invitational at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club for a 12 p.m. tee time.
