HARRISBURG, Pa. – Senior
Cale Rice (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) led the Lycoming College golf team with a career-best round of 86 to finish 41
st in a field of 86 golfers at the Messiah Falcon Fall Classic at the par-72, 6,615-yard Blue Ridge Country Club on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 13.

Rice, whose previous best round was a 109 at the Dickinson Invitational, finished 14-over-par to lead the Warriors to a 15
th-place finish out of 17 teams on the sun-filled day.

Sophomore
Alec Sabatino (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) finished second on the team with a 92 to take 58
th and senior
Conor Chopey (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) took third on the squad with a 97. Junior
Hailey Fricke (Denver, Pa./Garden Spot) posted a 101 and senior
Joe Pawlowski (Shamung, N.J./Seneca) rounded out the Lycoming entries with a 110.

The tournament is the first of four that the Warriors will play under first-year head coach
Brett Moyer in the school's first fall campaign in program history, as the team will transition to playing in both the fall and spring.

The Warriors get back on the course on Saturday, Sept. 17, when they head to the Penn State Altoona Invitational at Sinking Valley Country Club. Tee off is set for 12:30 p.m.
