WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Senior
Zach Layser (Myerstown, Pa./ELCO) led the Lycoming College golf team with an 89 on Wednesday afternoon, April 13, in a tri-meet with King's College and the University of Scranton at Wyoming Valley Country Club.
King's carded a 317 on their home course to win the meet, while Scranton posted a 327. Lycoming posted a 408 to round out the field. Ryan Tracy earned medallist honors, firing a one-over-par 72.
Freshman
Alec Sabatino (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) notched a 93, freshman
Doug Urban (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin) added a 108 and senior
Jacob McClain (Cogan Station, Pa./Jersey Shore Area) rounded out Lycoming's scorers with a 118. Junior
Conor Chopey (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) added a 120 and senior
Christian Felstedt (Brielle, N.J./Manasquan) finished with a 121.
The Warriors get back on the course on Tuesday, April 19, at 1 p.m., when they head to the Falcon Classic at Blue Ridge Country Club.
