Emily Hepner (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) posted 26 digs and senior
Kristine Jahn (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) added 17 kills to each earn a spot on the Tip-Off Tournament All-Tournament Team to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team on Saturday, Oct. 8, but the team fell to Rochester, 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-15) and Alfred State, 3-1 (25-19, 25-21, 17-25, 25-18) at Lamade Gym on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The Warriors (12-13 overall) fought back from a 2-0 deficit against Alfred State (15-1 overall) to win the fourth set, but couldn't complete the rally.

Hepner posted 16 digs and three assists against the Pioneers and Jahn added 13 kills, three blocks and hit .345. Senior
Lauren Fink (York, Pa./West York) added 12 kills, six digs, two blocks and an ace and junior
Catherine Burger (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) added 24 assists and seven digs. Freshman
Emily Morris (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North) added 10 digs and an ace and freshman
Alyssa McDevitt (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) posted five blocks.

Bryanna Godfrey notched 15 kills and 10 digs to lead the Pioneers and Janae Hamilton posted 10 kills and two blocks. Madison Szpaicher posted 29 assists and 10 digs and Grace Hall had five blocks. Madison Webster had 15 digs.

Rochester (16-6 overall) used a hard-hitting .352 attack percentage to overcome a gritty effort by Lycoming, as it fell 25-22, 25-19, 25-15.

Senior
Tayler Whitman (New Cumberland, Pa./Cedar Cliff) led the team with eight kills and sophomore
Cheyenne Altland (East Berlin, Pa./Delone Catholic) added seven kills, as both players hit .500. Fink posted five kills and 10 digs and Burger finished with 14 assists, six aces and seven digs. Hepner also added 10 digs.

Clara Martinez and Shira Katz each finished with 12 kills and Alexandra Goldman added 11 kills, three blocks and hit .556 for the Yellowjackets. Aimee Kohler finished with 40 assists, three aces, two blocks and eight digs.

The Warriors get back on the court on Tuesday, Oct. 11, when they host Arcadia in an important MAC Commonwealth match at 7 p.m. in Lamade Gym.
