th-ranked Eastern University, but fell 3-1 (20-25, 25-21, 16-25, 9-25) to open a quad-meet on Friday night, Oct. 28, at the Eastern Gymnasium.

The Warriors (14-18 overall) hit .323 (13-3-31) and forced six Eastern hitting errors in the second set to shock the host Eagles (25-5 overall) and post the win before Eastern rallied to win the last two hits, hitting .526 (13-3-19) in the fourth set.

Catherine Burger (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) posted 21 assists and three kills and freshman
Emily Morris (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem North) added three kills and seven assists. Freshman
Alysa McDevitt (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) added three kills and four blocks and sophomore
Cheyenne Altland (East Berlin, Pa./Delone Catholic) finished with four kills and two digs. Sophomore
Emily Hepner (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) had a match-high 14 digs.

Stephanie Elechko posted 18 kills to lead the Eagle offense, while Alicia Weigel added 11 kills, six digs, four aces and two blocks. Morgan Shemonski also had 10 kills and four blocks and Morgan Kline finished with 39 assists and four aces. Rylie Hess notched 14 digs and Michelle Paulsen had six blocks and five kills.

The Warriors will wrap up the Eastern Quad-Meet on Saturday, Oct. 29, when they will face Hunter at 12 p.m. and Muhlenberg at 2 p.m.
