WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Sophomore Kamryn Skeith (Monroe, Wa. / Sultan) posted a triple-double to lead the Lycoming College women's volleyball team to a comeback 3-2 victory in a Landmark Conference match with Elizabethtown College on Senior Day, Saturday, Oct. 24 at Lamade Gymnasium.
Lycoming (4-19, 1-6) was beaten in the first set by Elizabethtown (18-8, 5-2), 25-15, but a wild second-set victory turned the tide for the Warriors. The Warriors led deep into the third set before falling, 25-22, but Lycoming roared out to a 12-4 lead in set four, cruising to a 25-18 finish, then handled business in the decisive fifth set, pulling away after a 6-6 deadlock for a 15-11 final, with sophomore Charlene Petreshock (Warwick, N.Y. / Warwick Valley) providing the decisive kill to lift Lycoming to their first conference win of the season.
