Mackaella Goodwin (Madison, N.J./Madison) helped the Lycoming College women's soccer team post a 1-1 tie at Hood College in MAC Commonwealth action on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The Warriors (7-8-3 overall, 1-5-1 MAC Commonwealth) fired 10 shots in the game, but only had one in the second half, which came when Goodwin cut inside the box to get around a defender, drew the goalkeeper out and found the back of the net with 2:12 left in regulation for her seventh goal of the year.

In overtime, the Warriors proved the more aggressive team, taking three shots to Hood's one, but could not get the game-winner in the back of the net.

Hood (3-10-2 overall, 0-5-1 MAC Commonwealth) took the lead in the 32
nd minute when Samantha Baker found the back of the net, as Hood started the game with 10 of its 15 shots in the first period.

Junior
Joelle Winey (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) finished with four saves for the Warriors and Rachel Knoebel made five stops for the Blazers.

The Warriors wrap up the 2016 season when they host Stevenson in MAC Commonwealth action on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 12 p.m. at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.
