GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's soccer team fell to No. 12 Messiah College, 9-0, in a MAC Commonwealth game on Wednesday night, Oct. 12, at Shoemaker Field.
 
The Falcons (12-0 overall, 2-0 Commonwealth) were led by three goals from Sunny Gelnovatch and two goals and an assist from Marisa Weaver.
 
Junior Joelle Winey (Mifflintown, Pa./Juniata) made six saves in net for the Warriors (6-7-2 overall, 0-4 Commonwealth).
 
Lycoming took two shots in the game, forcing Messiah keepers Sara Yunez and Maddy Heistand to make one save each.
 
The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, Oct. 15, when they head to Widener for an important MAC Commonwealth game at 7 p.m.
