ANNVILLE, Pa. – Junior
Maggie Slawson (Armagh, Pa./United) notched seven kills and five digs to lead the Lycoming College volleyball team, but Lebanon Valley posted a 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-19) win in MAC Commonwealth action on Tuesday night, Sept. 29, at Sorrentino Gymnasium.

Bethany Richardson (York, Pa./West York) led the Warriors (12-6 overall, 1-2 MAC Commonwealth) with six kills and junior
Lauren Fink (York, Pa./West York) notched five kills, 10 digs and two blocks. Sophomore
Catherine Burger (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) added 17 assists and freshman
Emily Hepner (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) posted nine digs.
Alli Quirk led the Dutchmen (11-5 overall, 2-1 MAC Commonwealth) with 18 kills and Greta Wiedermoyer added 11 kills and two blocks. Rachel Moltz notched 25 assists, 10 digs and four aces and Allie Garrett added 14 digs.
The Warriors hit .400 in the first set, but Lebanon Valley hit .438 and closed the set on a 7-3 run. The Dutchmen hit .323 in the second set and in the third set, the Warriors closed within a point at 17-16 before the Dutchmen closed out the win on a 7-3 run.
The Warriors get back on the court on Saturday, Oct. 3, when they head to Wilkes for the MAC Crossovers, facing Wilkes at 9 a.m. and Misericordia at 11 a.m.
