WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â Having won four of its last five games before the holiday break, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will look to continue its run of success on Tuesday, Dec. 29, when it hosts Washington College in the opening round of the sixth annual Louis Fleming Basinger Memorial Tournament at 6 p.m.
The Warriors posted a 90-72 win over Penn College in its last game before the break on Dec. 13. Freshman
Calvin Chandler and junior
David Johnson each posted 13 points to lead the team, as 14 of the team's 16 players scored in the win.
The Shoremen (1-5 overall) are playing their first game in 18 days, last falling to Penn State Harrisburg, 79-66, on Dec. 11. Sophomore Tas Dixon led the team with 17 points.
Warrior Notes• Lycoming is 5-0 in the first round of the Basinger Tournament.
• The Warriors lead the MAC Commonwealth in scoring margin (10.2), rebounding (45.9), offensive rebounds (16.9), rebounding margin (7.4), and steals (11.1).

Nykolas King is one of three players in the MAC Commonwealth in the top 10 in scoring (14.1, 10th) and rebounding (7.2, fourth).

Alex Newbold is the lone player in the MAC Commonwealth in the top 10 in rebounding (6.2, ninth), assists (3.0, sixth) and steals (2.3, fourth).

Chris Wallace needs three more points to reach 300 in his career. Wallace is averaging 11.0 points over the last five games.
