"It's really exciting," third-year head coach Nate Gibboney said. "I think we are all still just taking it all in at this point. It has been a great ride this year. The guys have earned this. They have earned the respect of the people around the country and to play in the NCAA Tournament next week."

The Warriors enter the NCAA Tournament  ranked 18th in the country by D3soccer.com. The team is third in the MAC Commonwealth in scoring offense (2.57) and lead the league in goals-against average (0.53), where the team sits 15th in the nation. The team is also receiving votes in both the D3soccer.com and NSCAA polls throughout most of the season.

The team is paced by three First Team All-MAC Commonwealth selections in sophomore midfielders Abdullahi Abdi (Seattle, Wash./James Garfield) and Jordan Logan (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) and 2015 MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year Kyle Thomas (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright).

Logan leads the team with 30 points, as he is third in the MAC Commonwealth with 0.68 goals per game and he is second nationally with seven game-winning goals. Abdi has complimented Logan by notching 29 points, as he leads the league with 0.50 assists per game and he is fifth with 0.56 goals.
