WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – For the third straight year, the Lycoming College men's soccer team will play in the MAC Commonwealth Championship final and for the first-time, the top-seeded and 18
th-ranked Warriors will host the game, as they will face No. 2-seed Messiah College on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. at the Shangraw Athletic Complex.

The winner of the game will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament, while the loser will hope for an at-large bid, as both schools are listed in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region rankings.

Tickets for the game will be available at the Mulberry and Packer Street gates for $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $2 for students. Children under six are free. Long-sleeve championship T-shirts will be available for $15. The gates will open be open for the football game that begins at 1 p.m. and all fans, including those there for the football game, that enter the athletic complex between 1:15 p.m. and 2 p.m. will be charged unless they provide a MAC pass.

The Warriors (15-1-2 overall) are one win shy of the school-record of 16 wins in a season, set by the 1994 team, which went 16-5. Lycoming is on a school-record 17-game unbeaten streak, and they are 19
th in Division III in goals-against average (0.57) and 32
nd in scoring offense (2.71), both the top marks in the MAC Commonwealth.

The team is led by MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year
Kyle Thomas (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright), who has helped the team post 11 shutouts this year as the team's central back. Thomas was joined on the All-MAC Commonwealth First Team by sophomores
Jordan Logan (Oxford, Pa./Oxford Area) and Â
Abdullahi Abdi (Seattle, Wash./James Garfield), who are tied for the team lead with 29 points on the season. Logan leads the team with 13 goals, while Abdi leads the MAC with nine assists.

Lycoming posted a 2-0 win over Widener in the conference semifinals, with second-team all-conference freshman
Sainclair Tueno (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair) scoring the game-winning goal and Abdi notching a goal and an assist. Junior
Josh Gildea (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) stopped five shots in his second straight shutout.

The Falcons (14-4-1 overall) are looking to repeat as the conference champions after posting a 4-0 win over Lebanon Valley in the semifinals. The team is led by three First Team All-MAC Commonwealth selections in junior
Will Cochran, senior
Danny Rowe and junior
Jacob Bender. Rowe leads the team with nine goals and three assists. Senior midfielder
Benji Kennell led the Falcons against Lebanon Valley, scoring the first two goals in the win.
