OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Sophomore
Jordan Lazarich (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) became the seventh player in school history to reach 50 career points to lead the Lycoming College women's soccer team on Wednesday night, Oct. 7, but defending MAC Commonwealth champion Stevenson was able to post a 3-1 conference win at Mustang Stadium.

Meghenn Jackson (Arnold, Md./Broadneck/Anne Arundel C.C.) to highlight the night for the Warriors (7-5 overall, 0-2 MAC Commonwealth). Combined with her five assists, the 23 goals gives the sophomore 51 career points, which is sixth in school history and just two points shy of the top five in program history, where Kati Shaner sits with 53 (2008-10).
Jackson, meanwhile, now has 12 goals and four assists for 28 points this season, which is tied for fifth-most in program history. She needs just two more points to become the fourth player in school history to notch 30 in a season.
The Mustangs (5-8 overall, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) got on the board in the 12
th minute on a goal by Jordan Porretto and took a 2-0 lead into halftime after a Lauren Spivey goal in the 35
th minute. Stevenson took a three-goal lead in the 59
th minute on a score by Kellen Wittman before Lazarich's goal made up the final margin.
The Mustangs fired 26 shots in the game, forcing Lycoming's freshman keeper
Helen Ross (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley) to make five saves. Tiffany McKee played the first half for Stevenson before Katelynn Giannaccini played the second, making two saves, as Lycoming took four shots in the game.
The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, Oct. 10, when they head to MAC Commonwealth foe Arcadia for a 2 p.m. game.
