GLENSIDE, Pa. – Junior
Olivia Manges (York, Pa./West York) led the Lycoming College women's basketball team with 16 points and four 3-pointers, but Arcadia University scored 34 of the game's last 44 points to come-from-behind for a 69-60 Commonwealth Conference win on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 10, at Alumni Gym.

The Warriors (9-5 overall, 2-4 Commonwealth) finished with three players in double figures, as senior
Ali Derr (New Columbia, Pa./Milton Area) finished with 11 points and four rebounds and junior
Chelsea Henderson (Yonkers, N.Y./Yonkers) posted 10 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Freshman
Shelby Mueller (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) notched nine points, 11 rebounds and two steals and sophomore
Nicole Calella (Sandyston, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) posted seven points and five rebounds.

The Warriors led the game for 32 minutes, starting to take control with a 15-0 run to take a 22-7 lead with 10:03 left in the opening period. Derr led the run with six points and Lycoming kept the lead in double figures until the 4:33 mark of the half, as Arcadia used a 14-8 run to close the half. Still, Lycoming led 36-28 at the break.

The Warriors started the second half with a 3-pointer by Manges to make it 39-28, and for much of the first nine minutes, the Warriors kept the lead in double figures. An old-fashioned 3-point play by Muller was followed by a layup by Henderson to give the team a 50-35 lead with 11:32 left when Arcadia began its game-closing run.

The Knights cut the lead to two points with 8:47 left when Manges connected on her fourth 3-pointer of the game to make it 54-49 and Calella added a jumper to make it 56-49, but Arcadia rallied to tie it at 59 with a 10-3 run that was capped by a 3-pointer from Maureen Fiocca. After a free throw by Calella with 4:22 left gave Lycoming its last lead, the Knights won the game on the free throw line, hitting 10-of-14 in the final 3:26, while Lycoming missed all nine shots it took from the field.

Fiocca led the Knights with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Addy Crenny notched 12 points, 11 rebounds and seven steals. Valerie DiMuro posted 16 points and eight rebounds, as the Knights held a 49-34 advantage on the glass.

The Warriors get back on the court on Wednesday, Jan. 14, when they head to Lebanon Valley for a Commonwealth Conference doubleheader. The women will tip at 6 p.m. before the men play at 8 p.m.
