WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a dramatic win over Lebanon Valley on Wednesday night, Feb. 12, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will look to improve its playoff stock with three games remaining in the Commonwealth Conference season when it hosts Arcadia University, Saturday, Feb. 15, at Dutch Burch Court at Lamade Gym.
The Warriors (10-11 overall, 6-9 Commonwealth)came back from down 12 in the second half to notch a huge win, as sophomore
Rob Pillow hit a 17-footer with 2.1 seconds left to lead the team to the 65-63 win over the Dutchmen. Two games out of the final playoff slot with three to play, Lycoming will likely need to sweep its remaining games to have a chance at making the playoff field.
The Knights (7-15 overall, 2-13 Commonwealth) are coming off a 78-63 loss to league-leading Alvernia.
Warrior Notes
• With a 7-6 record at home, the Warriors need one more win at Dutch Burch Court to secure its 20th straight winning home record. They have posted a 200-63 (.760) record in that span.
