LA PLUME, Pa. – A first half goal by freshman Olivia Mendler (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) for the Lycoming College women's soccer team was washed away by rain and lightning at Keystone College on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 11.
 
Mendler's goal came in the 13^th minute off an assist from sophomore Kaitlyn Gulotta (Mt. Airy, Md./South Carroll) on a restart, but lightning came in the 38^th minute and would not relent.
 
The game, by NCAA rule, is a no contest. A makeup date for the contest has not been announced.
 
The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, Sept. 14, when they head to SUNY Geneseo for a 12 p.m. game.
