WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College men's soccer team posted its highest goal total in a decade on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 10, as it downed Penn State York, 9-1, at the Shangraw Athletic Complex in non-conference action.

Freshman
Jason Coles (Logan Township, N.J./Kingsway Regional) notched a goal and three assists (the 13
th three-assist game in the program's history) to lead the Warriors (2-2 overall). Junior
Luke Klingler (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg Area) notched two goals and an assist and freshman
Moises Lazo (Bowie, Md./Bowie) also added two scores. Freshman
Dom Haynes (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) notched two assists.

In all, seven Warriors found the back of the net as the team rolled up the fifth-largest goal total in program history and the most since a 9-1 win at NYU-Poly on Sept. 14, 2003.

Eros Linarez scored the lone Penn State York goal in the 81
st minute on a penalty kick, as the Lions fell to 2-2 overall.

Connor Keenan (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) notched two saves in 61 minutes before freshman
Josh Gildea (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) finished the game.

Paul Ambrose stopped 11 shots in 53 minutes for the Lions before Luiz Rezende stopped five in the final 37.
