Lycoming steps out of conference for Sunday showdown with Rutgers-Camden

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After the second 100-point game of the season, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will look to continue its hot-shooting start when Rutgers-Camden comes to Dutch Burch Court at Lamade Gym on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 1 p.m., for a non-conference showdown.

The Warriors (3-1 overall) shot 66 percent (31-for-47) in their 101-87 win over Elizabethtown on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Senior Kevin Anthony and junior Pat Dougher led the way, combining for 49 points in the win.

The Scarlot Raptors (1-2 overall) are also coming off a win on Nov. 26, posting an 85-69 win over Rowan. Five players scored in double figures in the win, led by junior guard Teon Russell, who posted 23 points and eight rebounds.

• The Warriors hit 16-of-22 shots from the field in the second half against Elizabethtown, grabbing five offensive rebounds off the six misses.

• Senior Kevin Anthony has notched 12 20-point efforts in his career.

• Anthony became the 13th player in school history to reach 100 career steals with his three thefts against Elizabethtown.

• Senior Justin Miller became the 13th player in school history to swat 50 shots in a career with his two blocks against Elizabethtown.

• Junior Pat Dougher needs to hit three more 3-pointers to become the 13th player in school history to hit 100 in a career.

• Dougher's seven 3-pointers against Elizabethtown are a season-high in the Commonwealth Conference this year.

• Senior Michael Rudy has hit a 3-pointer in a career-high four straight games.
